UV Protection

Is it possible to avoid discolouration?
REDUCE AND DELAY discolouration with Solarcheck films
Even when they are invisible, UV rays can have damaging effects, not only on our skin but also on fabrics, furniture, pieces of art, etc.

Solarcheck films filter and reduce more than 99% of the ultraviolet rays that penetrate through glass, and they can reduce up to 95% of solar infra-red rays.

They reduce ultraviolet and infra-red radiation, helping to preserve furniture and decoration, delaying and reducing the discolouring effects of the sun and its excessive heat.

SPF 285+

Solar Protection Factor (SPF) is the measurement of ultraviolet ray absorption and it informs us about the maximum sun exposure time without risking getting burnt. The higher this index, the greater the protection time (all Solarcheck products filter more than 99% of UV rays).

What causes discolouration?

Generally, it is thought that discolouration only occurs as a result of the sun’s ultraviolet rays and that, by blocking them out the problem is avoided. This is a very common mistake.

Although UV rays are the main cause of discolouration, there are other agents with discolouring effects that cannot always be eradicated.

Solarcheck films reject more than 99% of UV rays and up to 95% of infra-red rays, allowing for the exposure time for objects to be extended.
